Privacy
appstogrow.app is run by Apps To Go ApS, an app studio in Denmark (CVR 39048507). This page says what the site does with your data, which is very little.
What this site collects
Visit counts and page-load times, nothing more. The site sets no cookies, has no forms and embeds nothing from other companies. The typeface is served from this site, not from a font service, so no font service learns that you visited.
Before the site opens: the access code
Until appstogrow.app opens, its pages are shown only to people with an access code. Everyone else sees a short “coming soon” page with a field for the code. That field is the site’s one form, and the cookie below is its one exception to “no cookies”.
If you enter the right code, the site sets a cookie named __Host-atg_gate. It keeps you signed in on that browser for 30 days and is sent only to this site. It holds a value worked out from the code, nothing about you. It is strictly necessary for the sign-in you asked for, so it needs no consent. If you never enter the code, no cookie is set. To sign out, open /_gate/lock or delete the cookie in your browser.
Visit counts
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. When a page loads, a small script from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com) sends Cloudflare a short report: the page address and the address of the page that sent you here, both without anything after a “?” or “#”; how quickly the page loaded and responded and, in Chrome-based browsers, how much memory it used; the names and versions of your browser and operating system; and a random number that lasts only for that page view.
The script sets no cookies and keeps no identifier in your browser, so it cannot recognise you when you come back. Cloudflare sees your IP address when the report arrives, as it does with every request, works out your country from it and, by its own account, discards the address without storing it. Cloudflare keeps the reports in full for 7 days and after that a sample of about one in ten. We see only totals, such as visits per page, referring sites, countries, browsers and loading times, and never an IP address. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics uses no cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors; see its Web Analytics page.
We use the counts to learn which pages are read and whether the site is fast. That is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. If you block the script, the site works just the same and your visit is not counted.
Hosting
The site is delivered by Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and request headers to deliver the pages and to protect against abuse. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Cloudflare's own rules are in the Cloudflare privacy policy. We do not use these data to identify visitors.
Links to other sites
The project pages, the app stores and appstogo.dk have their own privacy terms. Each app’s privacy policy will be on its own page once that page opens.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted, and you may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). The visit counts do not tell us who you are, so there is nothing about you that we could look up or hand over, but questions are welcome through appstogo.dk.
Changes
If the site ever collects more than this page describes, it changes first and the date above moves.
